FAQ

No, the Caring for Conservation Fund generally welcomes project proposals from all over the world.

We do offer long-term funding of several years. However, we are a small fund and can not commit to any large funding support over several years.

The maximum funding depends on how well your projects suit our mission and priorities. Generally, we don’t provide more than 10.000 USD at once.

At the moment, we don’t call for proposals or provide deadlines for funding applications. However, the later in the year, the more likely it is that we have already allocated all our funds to other projects or organizations. Thus, it is recommended to get in contact between December and March.

Yes, we expect you to provide us with a project report, after completion of the project, that contains a description of the project, basic evidence on the major expenditures and an impact review (e.g. reached indicators).

We ask you to share some updates and photos of your project that we can post on our social media accounts. If the project is sensitive or involves sensitive activities, then we will of course not ask for photos or share any media.

Please do not hesitate to get in contact should you have further questions or comments.
